Location at the intersection of the highway and Ljubljana ring road gives the assignment an additional weight while also making it easier: on a well-frequented location, creating a well-functioning composition is not a very difficult task. Client's basic idea was directed into an abstraction of function, making the building suitable for the widest selection of programmes. There was talk of a hotel, offices, luxury apartments, representation spaces, retail, etc. Project was conceived as a composition of towers held together by a link which comprises communication areas and other secondary spaces. The rest is a maximized area of open spaces, not limited by construction or installations. Abstract architectural expression follows the abstract programme concept, the only real context being the nearness of the highway. At this point, different points of view regarding the level of form abstraction caused a parting of the ways with the client.
