Church of St. Rupert in
Šentrupert in Dolenjska region is a cultural monument of national
importance. The renovation was carried out under the leadership
and according to the guidelines of the Institute for the Protection
of the Cultural Heritage of Slovenia.
The renovation includes the following segments:
- replacement of floor in the presbytery
- the design of the mensa, ambon and pedestal for the baptismal
stone: the elements are structurally connected, made of grooved
light marble with a caesura of the pedestal in dark stone.
- Restoration of the seating niche and execution of a memorial
to the past pastors, which is mounted on the wall in the form
of two stone slabs and a medallion.
- lateral wooden benches along the walls in the front part
of the presbytery, made of solid wood (walnut), with division
into individual seats, the backs have finishes with a pattern
in the three-leaf finishes of the sides of the benches in
the nave, seats in inlaid leather.
- Sacristy equipment – movable wooden equipment: cabinet for
priest's clothes and a niche for the work surface, with final
treatment: semi-matt lacquered walnut veneer; cabinet for
ministers and a movable bench for ministers in the same finish.
- Lighting of the presbytery and sacristy: arranged on the
inside of the presbytery portal, where the lights are not
visible from the nave: reflector lamps of small dimensions
with different optics, which enable both accented and broad
basic ambient lighting.
