Situated in the Radgona Fair
area, the new pavilion will be used both as a presentation area
for Pomurje's counties and its economy, and as a reception area
for various fair activities. The building, divided vertically
into two volumes, can be transformed into several schemes. The
bell shape covers the events area below. It will function as
a imposing entrance mark for fair events outside; in case of
exhibition openings or conferences the ground floor will close
up to serve as a reception area, with the exhibition area on
the upper floor. The translucent white sheath serves to transform
the structure's appearance via projections and coloured light
effects. The visible wooden construction of the bell accentuates
the region's connection with the land and its products and creates
a pleasant atmosphere as natural, warm material. Covered in
flexible glass panels to prevent overheating, the roof area
opens into the sky.
