Surrounding space is currently
experiencing transformation from a predominantly production
and warehouse area to higher systems of spatial use. The new
programme draws the entire city area closer to downtown urban
zones. Complex comprises three apartment buildings and and
an office building, a business volume to the north and a series
of retail spaces along the street allow for quieter residential
programmes to develop in the middle, in quiet green areas
along the channel. In the center of the plot, three low residential
sections are positioned, which open their outdoor spaces to
the south and connect with residential programs, on the other
side of the channel. Facades in printed plaster envelop three
sides of the building and connect to the Eastern - urban facades,
clad in white stone of various textures. The building's footprint
has been designed as environmentally friendly. Location and
orientation of each building have been adjusted to benefit
well from good natural lighting conditions from east and west.
The building incorporates geothermal heat exchangers within
source structural piles, which are equipped with geosondes.
Energy from geosondes is used for heating and cooling of buildings
and preparation of sanitary water. Sanitary water for the
buildings is partially also prepared by solar heat exchangers.
Solar energy also additionally supports heating of buildings.
Geothermal heat exchangers are connected to the geothermal
accumulation volume of soil under the building so that it
is also possible to run the system without using the heat
pump on days when pumping the heat transfer medium under the
building suffices. Central intelligent supervisory system
controls all vital energy distribution elements of the office
building, including energy recuperation and ventilation systems
and all that with respect to current input economic parameters.
The building is is expected to reduce the carbon footprint
for 31.060 kg of CO2 every year. |
