A mixed-use building in
downtown Murska Sobota was converted from a derelict ground
floor building that had previously served for preparation
of meals for the town’s factories. The existing ground floor
has been converted into workshops, a local produce store and
a restaurant. Additional upper floors house apartments for
senior living on the southern side and a kindergarten and
offices on the northern side. A vegetable garden for the residents
is arranged on the roof of the ground floor volume. The building
is delineated by its balconies with wooden frames on eastern
and western facade. |
