The constant changing of cities has brought about the need for a new type of urban furniture, adapatable to transforming space around it, as unobstrusive as possible, “invisible”. The station overhang combines a steel profile, anchored into the ground, with curved laminated and printed glass with lotus effect (self cleaning coating) and a touch-screen information panel providing bus route and schedule information as well as internet access. Apart from the overhang, the station comprises a corian bench and a city light display panel.
